Sanborn Propane and Oil is a family-owned business founded in 1989 by Gerald and Deb Alons. Their goal was simple: provide the best propane service at the best possible price to customers and friends. It’s a philosophy that has fueled our success for 35 years.

Sanborn Propane expanded its offerings in 2000 with the acquisition of Vander Woude Oil, adding gas and diesel delivery to our customers. In 2004, Gerald and Deb’s son Aaron launched the HVAC and Plumbing division, known today as SP Heating www.spheatingandcooling.com

For three decades, Deb managed the office from the heart of their home. In 2019, the office moved to a new location at 1404 S 2nd Ave in Sheldon, where Aaron, their son, has his office. The Propane and Diesel bulk plant is still conveniently located 1 mile East of Sanborn at 3216 Silver Ave.
